I want to trigger browser (Chrome) fullscreen on/off (F11) from a button in the application. How to achieve this ?

I assume some kind of Javascript could do this, or maybe there is some kind of system function?

Unfortunately, now there is no way to "simulate" a key pressed on WinCC Unified.

If you only need to start your application in full screen mode, you can create a shortcut on Chrome that will open the browser in full screen mode.

On the target field of the shortcut, you have to write:

"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --start-fullscreen https://<SERVERNAME>/WebRH

I am already familiar with this solution and have implemented it, but i need an easy and user-friendly method to enable fullscreen if the window does somehow exit fullscreen-mode.

Many operators are not aware that F11 enables fullscreen so a button on the screen would be ideal.

I see that Javascript does have a "Element.requestFullscreen" method but i have no idea how to use this or if it even works in Unified.

Maybe there is an easier method, or somebody has tried this.

You are right, Element.requestFullscreen() would help to solve your requirements. However, it is not supported in WinCC Unified. But maybe the Web-Toolbox_CWC will help you, but to be honest I have not tried it yet.
