I added the driver as manufacturer indicated, performed the procedures but did not generate the necessary files, I believe it is due to incompatibility of kernel version as I viewed what you ask in the driver with the image yocto.

I installed the Intel drivers in this post, but I believe it works even without the drivers (plug & play). The procedure was as follows: - put the wifi lib in /lib/firmware - $ iot2000setup - go to Networking -> Configure Interfaces - under wlan, insert "dhcp" - go back - in Connect Wifi, setup the connection - close iot2000setup It should now be possible to see wlan0 under $ ifconfig, and $ ping 8.8.8.8 (if "nameserver 8.8.8.8" exists in /etc/resolv.conf) should now receive answers. Best regards, André Roque I confirm that Ethernet controller Qualcomm Atheros AR242x / AR542x Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01) from the old Asus EeePC laptop works without the need to install drivers (Plug&Play).
