Everytime I try to open this same project in simatic manager 5.7(running on win10), the software show those messages, and I cannot make any modifications software or hardware. When I open it in older versions like 5.5, no messages are shown and everything is ok, I can make modifications. I already tried in different VMs. The VM where the 5.5 is installed don't even have Project Messages.

Hi, most likely, you will need S7-Project Messages. You can also try the workarounds from this FAQ. When you open a project in STEP 7 V5.7, why do you get the error message 3280:709 "Project or library are on a write-protected medium or are protected by a rights assignment"?regards sancruz |
