Hi, In this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2ptCp2QnbM&ab_channel=GeneralTechnologyKnowledge ) a guy uses S7-1200 PLC and Beckhoff 05.2420.1230.1024.5009 HTL encoder to measure motor RPM. I am using instead of Beckoff Pepperl's HTL encoder 10-11651_R-1200 (datasheet is in the pdf attached). The problem is that in his case counter resets to 0 after he stops to rotate the encoder's shaft. In my case it is not resetting, it continues to increase.Is it realted to my encoder, or with settings/program? My encoder's power supply is up to 30V, but for some reason it is getting real hot after I connect it to PLC (I use for encoder's supply L+ 1 and M+M1 shorted). What could be the problem?
