Step 7 is not opening when it is about to open. When I check it from Microsoft Event Logger, it gives the error mfc42.dll is not working properly. Windows was updated the day before this error occurred. I thought that was the cause of the error. I rolled back the update but the problem was not solved.

in general you can try a repair installation of V5.7 via the windows control panel for the apps and features, sometimes this can help. Otherwise check if the latest version von V5.7 + servicepacks + hotfixes is used.

Should be V5.7 + servicepack 2 + hotfix 1 (may someone correct me, if I am wrong).
