Hello All, I'm facing some trouble with testing my counter module. I geuss it has something to do with my DB, because the manual (https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll/csfetch/45977588/et200s_technological_functions_operating_instructions_en_en-US.pdf?func=cslib.csFetch&nodeid=45977589&forcedownload=true) page 14 said: "This block requires the DB1 data block with a length of 16 bytes. The start address of themodule in the following example is 256" Acually I'm a beginner at S7 so I created DB5 (shared) like this: a BYTE B#16#0 b BYTE B#16#0 c BYTE B#16#0 d BYTE B#16#0 e BYTE B#16#0 f BYTE B#16#0 g BYTE B#16#0 h BYTE B#16#0 i BYTE B#16#0 j BYTE B#16#0 k BYTE B#16#0 l BYTE B#16#0 m BYTE B#16#0 n BYTE B#16#0 o BYTE B#16#0 p BYTE B#16#0 And my FC5 lookes like this: Network 1: L 0 T DB5.DBD 0 T DB5.DBD 4 SET S DB5.DBX 4.0 Network 2: L DB5.DBD 0 T PQD 268 L DB5.DBW 4 T PQW 273 Network 3: L PID 268 T DB5.DBD 8 L PID 279 T DB5.DBD 12 But when I download all the modules the CPU hangs at this FC. Just for info: CPU: 315-2DP v 2.0.12 ET200S: 151-1 ST v 2.2.5 Countermodule: 1Count24v 100kHz v2.0.1 (6ES7 138-4DA04-0AB0 C) Encoder: Lenord+Bauer GEL 293-V-00060L031 (60 HTL pulse) If someone knows where I might go wrong. Please let me know. Sory for my english and my (maby) noop question Thanks, Martijn
