Dear Magica, we have take ATC 277-MM(Multimode) fo FO Communication with Remote Panel (ET200 IM). But we could not established communication to remote panel using ATC 277 MM FO module. 1)we have seen that baudrate of ATC 277-MM is between 115kbps & Profibus noraml baudrate is 1.5mbps so due to this communication is not established.. 2) I have done wiring connection oo Profibus Red(+) to T+ & Green(-) to T- on both end please tell me ATC 277 MM is correct for this communication or not ... if not please tell me siemens FO module MLFB no. Hello rajikiran; I do not know of your equipment and its limitations for Profibus-DP communications. However, since you state that Profibus operates at a "normal" baudrate of 1,5 MB, you recognize that it can run at different speeds. See the attached document for details on Profibus specs. It is taken from the SIMATIC NET PROFIBUS Networks manual. You should try your media converter in RS-485 mode, half-duplex, with a transmission rate of 9,6 kB for testing purposes. If it works, then try a setting187,5 kB: yourmanual states thatyour media convertercan goup to 250 kBps. If it does not work on the lower speed settings, then I would presume tht it cannot support Profibus-DP. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

Dear dchartier, we could not estblish communication through using this module , could you suggest MLFB no OLM module of siemens... Also there is 270 met distance between 2 Panel (IM 153-2 High Feature for ET200M PROFIBUS DP-6ES7153-2BA02-0XB0) so if we use profibus repeater then this option is correct.. |
