I am using WinCC TIA Portal V11 and configuring a Comfort panel.

I am trying to create a faceplate that is connected to a PLC tag of the Real data type to display a value with an I/O field. I want to have 2 I/O fileds in my faceplate, one formatted to show 1 decimal places and the other formatted to show no decimal places. I am trying to write a script that will set the visibility of the I/O filed with the decimal place to true if the tag value is less than 25.0. If the tag value is greater than or equal to 25.0, i need to set the visibility of each I/O field so that the one formatted without a decimal is visible.

Here is what I have so far

Sub ChangeVisibility(ByVal Reading)

If Reading > 25.0 Then

SmartTags("Properties\Visibility") = False

Else

SmartTags("Properties\Visibility") = True

End If

End Sub

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thank you for the reply. I was able to get it working by using your example.

I was also able to get it to work using my script. For those that are interested, instead of creating a property called "Visibility" that was linked to the visible state of my objects, I had to create a tag inside of the FacePlate and link that to my objects.
