Please explain a bit about the FC and logic inside as you mentioned?It is compulsory for Some functions to use ANY. I compiled a CFC logic with this data type without error.

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 10/26/2024 Posts: 6852 Rating: (1365)	mica_be HELLO, I have to use the blocks as FB14/FB15 or SFC14/SFC15 who need ANY variable. thank you Michaël Hello , I hope you mean SFB14,SFB15 for communication.Please follow the following instruction carefuuly: 1- Create a DB.Create an array (as an example) as data type byte and with known number of cell(e.g 100). 2-Create a symbolic name for DB.That can be done in symbol table. 3-Now, in CFC editor, right click on the input which needs an ANY data type. search for which area you need and select it as shown. Eastern Posts: 557 Rating: (64)	Hello, We can not put p#db1.dbx0.0 byte 10 in CFC. I was proposing that we can configure FC range for cfc programming so that other fc we can use our programminguse. we can create fc call sfb14,15 (normal LAD logic)& call in any of CFC chart.

hdhosseini Diamond Expert Joined: 1/28/2009 Last visit: 10/26/2024 Posts: 6852 Rating: (1365)	Hello, That is also possible.Do the task by developing an FC in LAD/STL/FBD editor as using conventional addressing for "ANY" parameter.In this case all complexities are hidden in an FC and it is up to programmer to select one of the mentioned ways.
