Hello everyone, I am new to motion control & so i seek to have some help in understanding a few parameter which are normally stated in the datasheets. Motor I am using: 1FK7042-5AF71-1SG2 (Data shaeet attached) Rated speed : 3000 1/min (why RPM is not used as the unit & how this unit is different than RPM) Static torque : Why distinct torqu rating is given @ 100K & 60K? what does this 100K & 60K mean? What is the diffrence between 100K & 60K? What is stall current? and why two rating for it also? what does N mean in Radial runout tolerance? Comments has also been added. Hello Sushil, The unit designation of '1/min' is another form or revolutions per minute(rpm). Statictorque is amount of torque capacity from the motor continuously at near zero rpm with certian characteristics of the motor while performing in that capacity. 100K term means that temperature rise from environment to motor windings is 100 degrees Kelvin. 60K means that temperature rise from environment to motor windings is 60 degrees Kelvin. Stall current is the amount of current needed to generate the static torque at near zero rpm. Similarly the 100K value refers to temperature rise from environment to motor windings is 100 degrees Kelvin. 60K refers to temperature rise from environment to motor windings is 60 degrees Kelvin. N means in Radial runout tolerance documents the specification for the cyclindrical shaft extensions per attachment where 1FK7042-5AF71-1SG2 motor is SH48.
