Dear Raffy, Is it a linear equation or not? Otherwise you can use the scale block FC105. If not you will need to do some type of linearization first, check out following existing thread: /tf/WW/en/Posts/77215 Control your 4-20mA output accordingly. Kind regards, Jens |

Hello Raffy,
Calibration is done based on physical reading and parameterizations on transmitter by hand-heldcommunicator. In SIMATIC Range of product "PDM" has the same functionality: http://w3.siemens.com/mcms/process-control-systems/en/distributed-control-system-simatic-pcs-7/simatic-pcs-7-system-components/process-device-manager-pdm/Pages/Default.aspx FC105 only can convert the raw digitalized data in AI channel based on high and low limit provided, it is also possible to map the values by a linear mapping function with a slope and an offset but it is not what you want. I hope this helps, Hamid Hosseini |
