What parts do you need to see? I will take screenshots of whichever screen you need to see. |

The best is: Screenshots and the program (as a ZIP file). |

Thanks. I have moved to a static link, but still cannot alter the port so have changed the port on the Modbus device to 503. The NAI integer connection works, but still getting zero on the VW. AttachmentModbus test NAI working.zip (396 Downloads) |

Try this and look if are values in VW0 and VW2. Maybe your simulator works with Little Endian. LOGO! works with Big Endian. AttachmentModbus test NAI working.zip (461 Downloads) |

The problem is a wrong Modbus connection. Try attached program, which is written in diagram mode, not in network mode. This may be easier for most applications, when only one Logo is connected to Modbus devices. I would never use green NAI's, but only local mapped variables. See menue tools -> ethernet connections -> Connection1 (Modbus Client). Inside is the VM mapping for this device. A float needs 2 register = 4 bytes, in this case the mapping is VM0. This means, VB0-VB3 or VW0 and VW2 are used. The next free variable then is VB4, VW4 or VM4 (VM for converters). Change the mapping to your desired HR (5xx) and ID (27 ?), then the right value will appear on the display of the message text. Regards, Scorp AttachmentModbustest.zip (611 Downloads) |
