Wincc server error "The configured server is not available"

Hi Guys,

I have a problem about our Wincc explorer of one of our client operating pc, what happens was power failure came and PC UPS is not functioning well so pc was shutdowned improperly, after that power failure and restarted again the PC this came out "The configured server is not available" picture attached, where i will begin to solve the problem? only one client out of 9 units became like this after power failure, any help and advise pls.

ok i will erase and re-load the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (WINCC) which is in the client PC, and I'll get back on you for the development.

for me it just seems to be the standard message wich is apearing when the computer name in the project is not matching to the physical computer name where the project is located on. Did you just simply tried to check/correct the computer name in the project? Or in case the project is corrupt on the client; Did you just try do download the client project again (maybe after deleting the corrupt project on the target computer before)?

Just close project and reopen project.

Ensure that your PC name and Computer name(In WinCC) both are same.
