Is it possible to group trends by area and have the possibility to select the "group of trends" or the area?

Which SCADA are you using? You already have this option available in wincc explorer v7.0 or higher in which you can select particular trends from a list of trends. Kindly refer the attached file.

Example: When you have let say 200 trends and a plant subdivided in 5 areas

The trend selection window displays always 200 trends... it is not easy to find the trend to check!   

even when we give structured trend name (Area_Name: Trend_Name)  

is it possible to group this trends by area, and have the possibility to select the "group of trends" or the area.
