Connect symbol variables from TIA to WinCC 7.5SP1

Hello,

I have a project with WinCC7.5 SP1 and a PLC S7-1500. I need to import variables from TIA to WinCC with symbolic reference, NOT absolute reference. Is it possible?

Hi chetiserve,

Yes it‘s possible.

There are two possibility’s.

At first you have to insert the S7-1500 1200 Chanel in your WinCC project and create a new connection.

Possibility 1 Online Import

You start the WinCC Project, connect the project wit the PLC and import online the tags and messages

Possibility 2 offline Import with the Export to Scada Tool

You have to install this on the TIA machine. Export the Tags and Messages and create a zip file

Copy the zip-File to the WinCC computer and import the tags and messages for the zip-file
