Symbolic address and structure tags in WinnCC 7.5

Good evening,

I would like to use a structure tag with a S7-1500 PLC. The structure should find tags in DBs starting from an initial tag thanks to the AS offset property.

With absolute address everything works well but with symbolic address WinnCC does not assign the correct address to the tags (column blank).

What to do? Is not possible anymore use this method with symbolic address?

Hello AndryG,

it should work with the symbolic addreses to.
You need to read the AS Symbols from the AS (PLC) via the connection
in the Tag Management, when the PLC is connected and running
If this is not possible, you could use the SCADA Export Tool
for TIA Portal

 Thanks for the reply.
I can import tags in both ways: online with PLC running in TIA Portal or with the SCADA Export tool.

I try to show you the issue with a picture attached:
1. In the first picture you can see the imported tags (with Read from AS, so online). All of them have symbolic address
2. The structure type elements have an AS offset who allow the structure to find the tags starting from the first one requested (address to be write)
3.Here I define a new structure tag of this type, so I enter the name, the PLC name, the Group where it can find the needed tags and the address. Here a first problem: the wizard doesn't allow to enter a symbol address. So, my idea is copy-paste the address of the first needed tag. The result:
4. It creates the tags but with empty address.

I'm missing something? Thanks for the help
