WinCC v6.0 SP4 to V7.0 Upgrade issue!

DesignTech Bronze Member Joined: 9/6/2008 Last visit: 10/16/2025 Posts: 179 Rating: (2)	Hi All We are busy upgrading a 15x S5 155U, 2xServer/Redundancy Pair and 10 Clients system within Step7 v5.4 environment from WinCC v6.0 SP4 to v7.0 using PMC Driver v7.0. All appears fine except we seem to have a redundancy issue in the project. When I open WinCC from within Step7 and I select Redundancy and Open I get a ERROR LOADING CONFIGURATION DATA message and I cannot enter. Also when selecting Server Data and configuring I seem to have lost the Redundant Server to select as preferred server. Deleting the server data and reloading does not help. Any ideas. Philip

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, We have stations with v7, running in customers' sites and for development, and we don't find it slow at all... Of course for using newer versions you should always check the hardware recommendations, 'cause they demand more resources. Best regards, Danielle
