WINCC clients server data issue

amrrageb33 Regular Member Joined: 10/19/2014 Last visit: 12/23/2024 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello guys, I have a system PCS 7 version 8.1 consists of two servers and one engineering plus eight clients. It was working fine but for some reason we tried to reconfigure the redundancy between two servers by disabling it from engineering and download and then enable it again. After Enabling and compile/download from engineering and adjusting settings of redundancy in both servers both servers come back normally but the problem with clients. All clients are only see server1 in server data and server2 isn't appearing under preferred server!!! how can I make clients see server 2 although it appears in all at simatic shell.!!!

bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello amrrageb33, maybe the dcf-file is corrupt, you can try to delete and renew it. see FAQ: "How do you delete the DCF file of your WinCC project?" https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109763043 You should do this on the Engineering Station, and then execute a complete load to both of the Servers.
