WinCC 7.4 Windows 7 upgrade to 7.4 SP1 Windows 10 LTSC 1809

Hi,

I have a client that needs to switch their clients from Windows 7 to Windows 10 LTSC 1809. As I understand it they would then need to update to WinCC 7.4 SP1 (looks like 7.5 don't support LTSC 1809?).

They have two WinCC servers running in a redundant setup with Windows Server 2012 R2.

Anything specific I need to think about? Any specific update that is needed? And do they need to buy new licenses for SP1 or can they continue with their 7.4 licenses?

They are running 7.4 (without SP1) today, But as I understand the combability tool only SP1 will run on Windows 10.

Up to WinCC V7.4 you can use as operating system also windows 10

WinCC V7.4 is released with:

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro (64-Bit)and

Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise (64-Bit)
