WinCC runtime problem

alienbob Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Hi everybody. I'm using PCS7 7.0 on a virtual machine, with simulator, and I have a problem related to runtime. When I launch it it remains not active, although the connection between OS and CPU works fine. I am able to download charts, to simulate values. When I launch runtime not even the log on window appear. The project is imported from another computer, wich uses similar software, but not on virtual machine. With another project everything is fine, I can run it without any problem. Another aspect of the problem is that when I press open page by name button nothing happens. If I open one page in Graphic Designer and I activate it from there I can see block icons, and it communicates with the program, cause it changes status when I simulate values, but I cannot open faceplates. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

By the way, you can find a lot opposite opinions here in this forum. You can try it with search... For example: /tf/WW/en/Posts/26648 Hope this woud be helps. regards

alienbob Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	I'm running WinCC on virtual machine with simulator without problem for other projects. By the way, I imported the project on a virtual machine with PCS7 6.2, and it works. But I need it to run on the machine with PCS7 7.0. Thank you for the link.

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	Hi, Through the logs you can see you have script errors. You should take a look into that. Run your application with APDIAG on, to help diagnose script errors. Also.. you said you had an application for "PCS7 v6.2". PCS 7 doesn't have a v6.2. There's v6.1, and then v7.0 was released. Which version do you have? When using a newer version make sure to migrate the project properly, or it will not work. Did you migrate your project? Best regards, Danielle
