SOLVED :: Problem copying from Wincc Asia to WinCC Euro

ani.the.gr8 Posts: 32 Rating: (1)	Hello all I am using WinCC 7.2 Upd 6 now for a project. I have another project built in WinCC 7.2 Upd 6 ASIA version. I opened one of the graphics from the ASIA version within my current WinCC project (Euro Version) and copied some very normal graphics object (like rectangle, group of text etc) from that picture (ASIA) to my picture in Euro Version. No problem. I saved my file (Euro) and closed my project (Euro). But after that whenever I am opening my project (Euro), WinCC is asking for Hardware USB Dongle and WinCC Explorer is getting close after some time period. Really frustrated now. Please help me to get rid of this dongle issue. For this Euro Version I have all necessary licenses installed in my Eng. PC. Thanks in advance.

In your case the best is to contactSupport Request. Eventually to send them your project... Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

I was having this issue in my Wincc project too and it has to with your licenses which are not properly installed. Check your automation license manager and check and update your RC license.

Komi Posts: 291 Rating: (71)	Hello ani.the.gr8, Firstly please be advised that once you have Asian Language Pack installed in your OS, then you need to have dongle no matter you're going to take use of an Asian language in your project or not. (Even you're using WinCC 7.2 Euro version.) Furthermore, if you've added an Asian Language in your WinCC Project, then ...needless to say: a dongle is definately necessary. So I would like to sugguest you to remove all the Asian Language from the TextLibrary, AlarmLogging...,etc. in your WinCC Project as well as from OS. Then reboot and restart your WinCC Project. But I worry maybe we need to check if the Asian Language is still there for each PDL. Good luck, Komi

ani.the.gr8 Posts: 32 Rating: (1)	Hello First of all, thanks a lot Komi for your views I found inside my WinCC Euro Project some asian language inserted, when I copied some elements from my reference project which was built in WinCC Asia version. So I deleted that language from the Add/Remove Language option within Language Menu option. Then closed the project and opened again. No error anymore. Thanks a lot really again.

I have the same problem, i built my project in WinCC V7.0 Asian, months ago i migrate my project to WinCC V7.3 (Euro), after i change some elements in my project, i have the same problem, WinCC USB Dongle is missing. Really sad :c Thanks in advance
