WINCC REDUNDANCY AND SIMATIC LOGON

Dear Experts,

I am using WINCC 7.4 SP1 Update 7, Two Windows 2012 R Server for master and redundant, 1 windows 2012R server for Domain (Simatic logon and Audit Database), 5 IPC of Windows 10 Pro. I am facing lots of problem in WINCC redundant systems as follows please help me to solve

1) Audit data for all server and IPC are not coming. Initially it is coming but while change from master to redundant it stops. I did not change any settings.

2) All IPC takes times for Login; I create the users in Domain Server. Domain pings within 1ms, showing in Simatic shell. Initially it is ok. But when I restart the Domain server problem starts.

3) Historical trends not showing sometimes, if I checked then found the settings showings zero-zero, but actually I set for 5 years. If I restart the server again it shows all settings ok. So why my settings disappeared?

4) Same with tags, sometimes my all tags disappeared even Internal tags. If I restart the system again it shows

5)I duplicate the project from master to redundant server, but in redundant system my graphics designer not opening. If I create new project graphics designer open. Other things like tag management etc opens. What will be the cause?

6)Server 1 is Master and Server two is redundant, checked with internal server status tags. But my master server not showing connected in Simatic WINCC RT computer connected lists. At that state if I restart the redundant server, it becomes Master and server 1 becomes redundant. Why it shows disconnected?

The very first thing you need to check is the Windows environment and configuration of the redundancy.

Check this FAQ:

It describes both configuration and debug.

It is important that you have a separate netcard for the redundancy link between the servers.

Also time must be synchronized on the WinCC servers.

Make sure you do not reboot the domain server while the system is running. I do not know why you would do this?

I reboot the domain server while the system is not running. I did it cause my audit not logging in domain SQL. Audit log is showing in individual SQL servers.

It sounds like it is best to open a service request with support to research this issue with the amount of different errors you see.
