start picture not found

Dear colleagues 

I am trying to load a project from the multi-project in wincc. 

I will tell you about the procedure that I've done 

I've created a multi-project in server side

of course, I can ping the IPs in the both client and sever sides.

then I created a simple project in the graphic designer

after that, I created the client in the computer part of the wincc and selected the page that I created before as the start picture. 

in the next step, I created the server in the serverdata and configured it

then I shared the project with full access 

on the client side I created the client project but when I want to load the server package in the serverdata there is not any package which is weird

I tried to open the project in the client but again the same problem

I searched on the internet and followed all the advice from this

but could not get a reasonable answer.  I also created the project again and followed the procedure several times but I could not succeed in loading the project in the client.

I am looking forward to a solution to this problem

Hi

You said you added the client in the computer list.

In this case, do NOT create a project on the client.

In stead browse from the client to the server and open the project here.

Then it should work.

1. Do you use the same user and password from operation system on server and client
If not make the same user

"what do you mean yoiu mean the same user name and passowrd for the windows or the same username and password for the project in the wincc? for the wincc I use the same username and passowrd otherwise I can't login to the project"
2, Delete server package on your server

"I did several times and created but did not work"
Close your runtime and wincc explorer

"I did and not worked"
Delete from your project folder al files „<Projektname>.dc…“

Open WinCC Explorer again
Create server package again.
Start project an check client picture
2. Start reset_wincc.vbs

"where is this and where can I run it?"
3. Start Simatic Security control.

1. If one user on the operation system and another user on winCC

The user from operation system you can check from computer management -> local user and groups -> User

1. The project folder Is the folder where also the <projectname>.mcp file is located
2. Start ->All Programs -> Siemens Automation -> Security Controller
3. Make reset_wincc.vbs you find in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens\WinCC\bin directory

Hi Autogen,

What about Simatic Shell? Normally you need to configure there Terminal Bus and if all other configurations are done like it should be, you will be able to see the server from any of your clients.
