Is it possible to use a newer version of WinCC client to connect with an old version WinCC server?

Hi Murof, Thanks for the information. I have a further question that is it possible to use a newer version of WinCC client to connect with an old version WinCC server? E.g. WinCC client V7.5 with WinCC server V7.3.

Hello Hiro It depends also on the type of Server/client you use... If you use a real WinCC Server/Client then the Versions have to be equal. If you use a WinCC Webnavigator Server/Client for example then there are more possibilities: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/17204272 Bye Murof |
