Assinging a tag to IOField with mouse click

Hello to everyone!

I'm trying to assing a tag to IOField with mouse click, but no luck.

I wrote C-script for button "ККД №1", it activate screen "KKD.pdl" in picture window in "Main.pdl" screen. "KKD.pdl" has IOField 11 "Level", but when I simulate it with internal tag "level1", it constantly shows "0".

Any help appeciated

I think your error is on your function call, because when you press this button that runs the script on "Main.pdl" the value of lpszPictureName is "Main.pdl" and not "KKD.pdl" in the way you programmed. 

The syntax is of this function is:

BOOL SetLink(LPCTSTR lpszPictureName, LPCTSTR lpszObjectName, LPCTSTR lpszPropertyName, LPLINKINFO *pLink);

where:

lpszPictureName:  Picture name

lpszObjectName: Object name

lpszPropertyName: Name of the object property

pLink: Pointer to a structure of the type: LINKINFO

In this case, because the object only will exist after you open "KKD.pdl" I am not sure if just changing "lpszPictureName" to "KKD.pdl" will work. Soo i suggest you to put the script that links your tag with the IO Field on the "Loaded" event of "KKD.pdl".

 I tried it, doesn't work. 

Also tried "Main.Pdl.@TOP1:KKD.Pdl", where @TOP1 - name of picture window.

Output of IOField11 doesn't change.

i suggest you to put the script that links your tag with the IO Field on the "Loaded" event of "KKD.pdl".

 Sorry, but I newbie in C-scripting, can you explain me?
