License Upgrade v7.3: installed license keys of Runtime and, it is showing upgrade in the standard license type?

I have installed license keys of Runtime,65536 Power Tags ,but it is showing upgrade in the standard license type please support to solve this issue..... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from License Upgrade v7.3.

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 1/30/2026 Posts: 16680 Rating: (1945)	Hello pradeep pandiarajan if you have a license key in ALM with type Upgrade then it is only a licen to upgrade an existing older license. -> The upgrade key itselfe will not do anything else then upgrading the existing old license. -> To do this acion you have to select the "old" license key -> Licensekey Upgrade -> then with these two licenses a new license in the new version is created bye Murof

itafusna Gold Expert Joined: 2/17/2020 Last visit: 1/28/2026 Posts: 1251 Rating: (237)	Hi pradeep pandiarajan, RT V7.3 license is in use (green arrow in the 'Status' column), so it looks like the Runtime is active. In order to apply the license upgrade, please deactivate the Runtime first. Also, it seems that you have an old version of ALM (from the look of the interface), so it would not hurt to update it: Handling programs for authorizing or licensing SIMATIC products. ( ALM, TIA Administrator, Authors)
