Where can I find WinCC OPC server and how to browse OPC tags?

About "OPC read/write protection" - thera are also in V7.5 but nowhere isn't explain if should be marked or not. I suppose protection will be active when this option is marked. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Limitation on OPC ua tags on wincc 7.5 sp2 .

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 12/19/2025 Posts: 16612 Rating: (1943)	Hello asz If you have installed the OPC Server for WInCC AND you have a Connectivity Pack lisence on this system then the OPC Servers start automatically with WInCC Runtime, then you should find and be able to access WinCC OPC Server and it´s tags Bye Murof

I can connect to WinCC OPC Server and browse it as You see in my attachment. But I don't see any tags which exist in WinCC. Read and Write protection are unmarked.

The name of the WinCC OPC UA Server is "Siemens OPC UA Server for WinCC". You should see this in the list if you use the UaExpert and us Custom discovery. Regards Michael
