Dear friends, I am facing an issue while configuring the horn in WinCC V7.4 SP1. The problem is that when an error alarm is cleared, the beep does not stop automatically, and I have to manually press the Acknowledge (Ack) button in the toolbar to silence the sound. I am seeking guidance on how to set up the system to turn off the sound automatically after fixing the error. If anyone has experience with WinCC or a similar system and knows how to resolve this issue, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Please provide step-by-step instructions or any relevant settings that need to be adjusted to ensure that the sound stops automatically when the error alarm is cleared. Thank you in advance for your help and valuable input. Best regards, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello majid_rajabi19, With the horn function I don't think you can do what you say. You could reformulate it and do it via script: Calling an acoustic signal via script in WinCC V7 / V8 here is an example to activate a sound and disable it automatically |

Hello majid_rajabi19 in WinCC you should be able to set a Tag in the Acoustic alarm message configuration of the Horn editor. If you acknowledge the horn in the Alarm Control this Tag should be reseted also. And you should be able to reset the tag also manually. So you could try to set the Tag also when you acknowledge the alarm. Another idea would be to use an external button for acknowledging. On this button (perhaps in the same Screen as the Alarm control) you can use both functions in a script. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/11769423 (should work also in newer Versions) bye Murof |
