Interconnect Client-Server WinCC project - No operator authorisation

AutoGen_448420 Member Joined: 3/6/2015 Last visit: 2/18/2024 Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	I have a project in WinCC 7.5 + SP2 + upd13 I have so far developed and run on the server but now I need to make a Client-Server project with a Simatic HMI (ITP1000). It will be Client without project. I am following the instructions in the Manual "Configuring a Client-Server System with WinCC V7.5" Now I have reached page 25 where in Simatic Shell on the client you right-click the project and select Interconnect, however when I do this and try to log in it says "No operator authorisation". I have a login name in the server and under User Administration the group that the login name is a member of has both Activate Remote and Configure Remote checked. Can anyone tell me why it does not work please?

In this case, authorisation is attached to a group, not the individual user name. The group name must be identical in three places, Windows on the server, Windows on the HMI and WinCC on the server. Authorisations are activated via WinCC on the server. This now works.
