WinCC WebClient on Windows 10

Antri Posts: 45 Rating: (1)	Dear experts, I have WinCCViewerRT installed on several PC's for a project. On machines with OS Windows 7 is working fine. On machines with OS Windows 10 is working fine but when i press Alt+Ctrl+P to open the configuration dialog i get the message "Encountered an improper argument". See attachment. Now on every Windows 10 machine is logged in as my tested user and i can't change it and the Viiewer is running in windowed mode. Any advice to that? bg2492 Posts: 7298 Rating: (2188)	Hello Antri, this a behaviour, which is already know with WinCC V7.3, but there is no actual Solution for it. To change the shortcut "CTRL + ALT + P" to an other combination does not help. The file "WinCCViewerRT.xml" ist stored in the path "C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\LocalLow\Siemens\SIMATIC.WinCC\WebNavigator\Client" You can make changes there with an editor or you can delete it, then you will get the configuration window again, when you start the ""WinCCViewerRT". You should create a Servive Request and forward the topic to the Technical Support of Siemens, to get solution, when one will be available. Regards Georg Berghof

The solution was, that my standard windows printer could not be reached over the network. After I've plugged in my Printer again everything was back to normal
