Ehsan.nami Experienced Member Joined: 9/27/2014 Last visit: 7/21/2025 Posts: 50 Rating: (1)	Dear all I have problem connecting WinCC 7.5 with PLCSIM. I am using TIA Portal 17 and PLCSIM 17. I can download to the PLCSIM and TIA portal can be online, but I cannot establish communication with Wincc. In wincc I created "SIMATIC S7-1200, S7-1500 Channel" and defined a new connection under OSM+. In "Connection Parameters", I entered the IP address (as it is shown in PLCSIM). Access Point: S7ONLINE Product Family: s71500-Connection any idea what might be the problem? Update: I noticed that when I open PLCSIM or PLCSIM Advance, the wincc communication is established and I get green checkmark in tag management, but as soon as I download my project, the communication is lost. It seems there is problem in my project but I am not sure how it is affecting the communication to the PLC. Any idea for this and where and what to check?

If you use < WinCC V7.5SP2 Upd4 then you have to deactivate the secure HMI communication in the PLC (if you have a newer FW) if you have a newer Version then look at this FAQ: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109798498 Check also your access point in the WInCC Channel and/or set the PGPC Interface to the correct setting Bye Murof
