How to connect block icon with faceplate in WinCC 6.2

Now I try to use block icon in my pictureto connect to faceplate for showing parameter get from PLC but I can not understand how can I do that: click block icon like picture attachmentcause faceplate display(with parameterenergy, power,..The picture attachment isa demo project). The solution of connecting the object to structured tag is still the same, in the pictures attached by Niranjan you'll see the wizard from the manual which you couldn't found in WinCC V6.2 because it's from the PCS7. The "interconnection" of the block icon with the faceplate is done by the C-script on mouse click, it should be already prepared on the block icon template. Which faceplate should be opened is determined from the object property Servername (before "Control"), normally in General part. The faceplate pictures also contains this standard object name in the picture name (normally after "@PG_"). Regards Sydney

anhtuan_ntc Posts: 54 Rating: (0)	Hi all, Thanks for reply, I understood your meaning but I tried to do that, it's okey when I create a block icon (which was copied from picture template: "@Template_pre.pdl") in a picture (Example: "A.pdl")and switch toruntime it in "@screen.pdl", but when Itakethe "A.pdl" in runtime stand alone (without "@screen.pdl", "@1001.pdl",...), it could not open faceplate when I click on block icon. So may it concern to something (I donot understand) in @screen.pdl, @TOPxx in it or something staff like that need to do for creating a positive link betweenblock icon to faceplate?Pls give me some advises? Niranjan Prasad Posts: 691 Rating: (37)	The Block Icon Faceplates are called through Picture Windows in "@1001.pdl" and "@screen.pdl" with the help of C- Scripts That's why when you the particular screen("A.pdl") the faceplates won't open as "@Screen.pdl" is not running that time

Niranjan Prasad Posts: 691 Rating: (37)	You ned not have to write separate code for opening the Standard Faceplate whenever you link the tag through the process (earlier posted) one global C-script is linked automatically you can see that in Properties->Events->Mouse
