Replace CPU 414-1 to 414-2, MP270 have trouble???

Sasongko Posts: 87 Rating: (0)	Hi Expert, I have just replaced CPU 414-1 to CPU 414-2. The old CPU 414-1 changed because INTF and EXTF LED always light on. I have done online diagnostic module the CPU, but no ERROR statement in the diagnostic PLC. I just did a little modification at HW Config. I use Replace Object menu to change the new CPU. I configured properties of the PLC as the old CPU like MPI Address, baudrate, cycle time, and more, but only in properties of the CPU Module. The PLC is connected to MP270. I don't know why refresh time of HMI became inconsistently? For example, the value of DOWN TIMER did not changed every one second. The value sometimes jumps 2-3 seconds. What should I do? Thank you

Aret Posts: 2348 Rating: (265)	Generally OP cycle acquisition is independent from PLC cycle. But of course if you total cycle length increases this can lead to longer refresh time inside PLC thus longer time in OP.

Sasongko Posts: 87 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have compared blocks between the new CPU414-2 (6ES7414-2XK05-0AB0) and the old CPU414-1 (6ES7414-1XG01-0AB0). I found 3 different blocks at CPU414-2: SFC3 CTRL_RTM SFC4 READ_RTM SFC64 TIME_TCK Are the blocks created automatically because I never create the blocks? I just replace PLC type configuration at HW Config. Can I delete the blocks in CPU memory? May someone give me explanation? Thank you

I have just replaced CPU414-1 6ES7414-1XG01-0AB0 with CPU414-2DP 6ES7414-2XK05-0AB0. I don't have original PLC file so I uploaded from the old one. Then I did little configuration, I replaced CPU type in HW Config. I set MPI address and baudrate as the old CPU.Finally I downloaded to new CPU. That's all. But now, HMI MP270 which connected to the CPU sometimes get lag. Present Time and Counter Time at the screen sometimes not changed every second. Is CPU414-2DP 6ES7414-2XK05-0AB0 have bug??? If I update the firmware of CPU, will the problem solved? I am waiting for you sharing. Thank you
