WinCC/Connectivity Pack, tags from Runtime DB

Frebiee Posts: 9 Rating: (0)	Hi, I've got a problem with using Connectivity Pack for WinCC v7. I'm developing some small T-SQL program which should get values of tags from runtime DB and pass them i.e. to the stored procedure. For now, I can read values of tags which were choosen in "tag logging" in WinCC (by query like TAG:R,1,....) but how to get values of other tags? I think, that they are in table TagCompressed, but I don't know how to write query... Thanks in advance.

rit03 Posts: 341 Rating: (24)	You need to supply ValueID of the tag you want to read or write. In your above query you have used valueID "1" in query TAG:R,1,..... See WinCC Onbline Help about how to get valueID. regards, rit03

I've tryied to use other valueID, i.e. 6 or 7 (when only 5 tags are selected), but query give me nothing... I am really new with WinCC, could you give me some hint, where I can find information you mentoined before?

rit03 Posts: 341 Rating: (24)	Connectivity Pack is used to get Tag value from archive i.e you can fetch historic value of tag which has been already archived some point of time. To get run time data you can access directly using c-script like GetTagWord("tag") or VBS. REGARDS, RIT03
