Hello everyone, I am trying to establish a connection between a S7-1500 (simulated in PLCSIM Advanced v7) and an external OPC UA Server simulator. When triggering the OPC_UA_Readlist_C function block, the PLC in PLCSIM Advanced crashes completely. Communication between TIA Portal and the PLC disconnects, and the PLC enters an unresponsive state where all modes (running, stopped, error, maintenance) are greyed out and it does not respond. To recover it, I need to remove the PLC from PLCSIM Advanced and add it again. Connecting to the same simulator with any other OPC UA client, e.g., UaExpert, works fine. Settings of OPC Server and Client:
I have also tested other security policies and access via username and password set on both the server and the simulated S7-1500, but the same behavior occurs. I have also tried connecting to the OPC UA Foundation Reference Server (https://github.com/OPCFoundation/UA-.NETStandard/tree/master/Applications/ConsoleReferenceServer) with the same issue occurring. Is this a known issue? Any suggestions? I would be grateful for assistance. |
