READ 2 WinCC tags TOGETHER from Database

Hello,

I'm working on a WinCC project where I need to read two different tags from the Database at the same time.

One of the tags is a value, and the second is a specific code for its status. I have registered both of them as two independent tags on TagLogging and now I would like to read and display them on the same MSHFlexgrid.

The problem may be the SQL sentence I launch against the database:

adodc.ConnectionString = "Provider= WinCC OLEDB Provider For Archives ;Data Source=" & datasource & ";Catalog=" & catalog
adodc.RecordSource = "Tag:R,'" & tagName& "','" & starTime & "','" & finalTime & "'"

The "recordSource" is only pointed towards ONE of the two WinCC tags and I don’t know how could I include the other WinCC tag there.

Another solution was consulting both tags separately and then put together the information I want from each consult on a unique MSHFlexgrid, but I found I cannot edit cells of a MSHFlexgridvia VBS.


Do you have any advice about what would be the best way to do this? (may be there is another object different from MSHFlexgrid where I can edit the information, or there is another way to launch the DB consult and get the desired data as a single recordsource)

I have tried the multiple process value query and it does not work ( I tried it with 2 PV).

When I launch the query I get an empty table with the same format as a single query table (the same columns, not even an extra column to fit the values from the second PV).

I have found the references on the manual, but everything seems to be all right. I guess I will have to do some more testing to see what is going wrong. By the way, when I perform a single query, I get all the expected data, so I guess it is not a problem of not having data on the database.


On the other hand, I have another question related to this issue:
The final purpose of this process is exporting the data from the FexGrid to a CSV file. At this moment, since the multiple query does not work, I'm performing 2 single queries and then copying the results from both FlexGrids to a final Flexgrid.
The process is quite slow, since I have many registers and I have to handle them cell by cell.

The final problem comes when performing the last step, which is reading again cell by cell the final FlexGrid with the combined data and writing the information on the definitive CSV file.

Does anybody know if there is a better way to export data from the database to a CSV file than going through the FlexGrids?
