AC bus voltage rise problem

PISCEAN 2010 Posts: 8092 Rating: (884)	Hello Experts, We got 2 nos lathe machines with 802D PL system. The details are as below. Lathe 1 CNC 802D PL Infeed unregulated module 6SN1145-1AA01-0AA2 LT power module 6SN1123-1AB00-0BA1 ; 2x25A Lathe 2 CNC 802D PL Infeed unregulated module 6SN1145-1AA01-0AA2 LT power module 6SN1123-1AA00-0CA1 1x50A 6SN1123-1AA00-0BA1 1x25A TheDIP switch setting on both infeed modules are same. AC input supply to both machine is from same grid & is 415 Volt AC. When infeed module enable signals are applied, DClinkvoltage builts up to 576 V. Problem At this condition, if AC voltage of lathe 1is found as 415 Volt where as at same time AC voltage of lathe 2 is found as 610 Volt. Why is it so? Both machine has got same type of unregulated infeed module, both machine LT modules are connected to respective servo motors, then why one machine AC grid voltage rises where as another machine grid voltage doesnot? Both machines have same type of input line choke. That is whythis behaviour make me suprise. Any other point I am missing or needs to be taken care? Regards, DEEP.

PISCEAN 2010 Posts: 8092 Rating: (884)	Hello Prakash, Ok I shall check the same & shall revert back you. But do you feel, this could be the problem (choke or line filter). Let us assume this could be the problem, then in such case, this abnormal rise in voltage i.e. more than600 volt AC should have adverse affect on other AC squirale cage inductions motors fed from the same bus inside machine, like lubrication, coolant, main spindle AC motor etc. Any one of the motor circuit breaker must trip on over current. Do you agree this point?
