Dear all let me start by saying that I fully agree with smiffy's assertions. As for what to do when you get a technical enquiry via PM, I keep it quite simple and reply back as a matter of principle with the following: Dear xyz unless you have done so already, I suggest that you post your question in the forum.
As such my request for an enhancement of the PM facility would NOT be a button to forward the techncial PM to the Moderator for postingwhohave enough to do with actual moderation. Instead I'd like a button that allows the pasting of a configurable reply message (just to save me the copy/paste "effort" of the above reply). |
