How to change display format of an IOField

hhauan Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi. Is it possible to change the display presentation of an IOFiled in WinCC? The field is connected to a Tag that represents a weight. Ex. Tag value is 140,0 On the HMI I want this to be displayed as 140.0kg, Is it possible in WinCC? Of course I can do it by adding a separate StaticText field, but that's not my question. /Helge Hauan

CromptonS Posts: 134 Rating: (34)	Hello Helge, You can do this by using script on the outputvalue property. Use the tag for the trigger. Also change it to text type Item.OutputValue = HMIRuntime.Tags("VAL1").Read & " kg" You can concatenate strings with c script too but is a nightmare. I have an example if you need it

I would prefer a variable direct connection on the property output value of an I/O-field. You can determine the decimal point character in the windows control panel.
