FABIO66 Posts: 34 Rating: (0)	Normally i use wincc in Italian ( my country ) and use a different languagefor the destination project. Now i need to create a new project whit Russian language, and is the first time for me ! I need a different package or the europe standard ( 5 language ) is ok ? I use Windows Xp , i need a russian version ? Last question : Is necessary to create a particoular configuation for this language ? Thank you

Settings in Win2000 1.1 ATTENTION I recommend to use the English version of Win2000, because, some German char is incompatible with Russian char. You don't need any additional software packages for Russian language, like a Cyrilika package. In Control Panel/Regional Settings you have to select the country Russian. Open the option "Set as default" and set Russian too. 1.2 Open regedit and path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Nls\CodePage Set for code page 1250, 1251 and 1252 the same value 1251.nls 2^nd step. Incorporate the Russian language in to the PCS7 libraries. 2.1 Open needful library (PCS7 Library or BATCH library) in SIMATIC Manager and add the Russian language via Option/Display language. ... 4^th step.
