S7 Attributes in a FB for WinCC archiving

Kibosh Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	Hey all, I'm creating some new blocks and for the first time using the attributes in the FB's of Step 7 so that I can compile the tags directly into WinCC. I use now the attribute "s7_m_c" for this and it works good. But two other attributes got my attention. These are "s7_archive" and "s7_trend". The options for the archive are clear, short or longterm but I can't find the "s7_trend" attribute in the help files. Anyway, WinCC is adding nothing into the Tag Logging so it's not working. Is this an option only for PCS7? Or can I let WinCC automatically generate tags into the tag-logging? If yes, how? What are the attributes and what options should I fill in to them? Kibosh Posts: 18 Rating: (1)	What a shame... I guess S7_archive is also only for PCS7... Is their another way for automating this, or will it be Visual Basic? Does their exist a good manual with all functions of VBSand VBA for WinCC? Thanks already for the fast response Kibosh

April Posts: 1776 Rating: (95)	Hi, indeed also S7_archive oi only for PCS 7. Yes you have to do it manually. For VBS and VBA see WinCC online help. But if i search for examples, i search on Microsoft technet sites.
