Deckard78 Posts: 102 Rating: (1)	Hi everybody, I must connect a WinCC stand-alone station with another WinCC stand-alone station. I thought to use an OPC connection. How can I configure the first station as OPC server and the second station as OPC client? Thanks for any suggestion. Bye.

aikona Posts: 487 Rating: (36)	Hi You can try to connect via DDE If you right click on the tag management and then new driver you can include the windows DDE driver.There are also extra add-ons that let you connect to 'other' partners. Eric

So what you need to do is as follows : a) Run WinCC on the first computer with nor b) Connect the 2nd computer to the first using Ethernet and make sure that the two are communicating with each other on Windows level b) Run WinCC in the 2nd computer and install OPC.chn as the Tag connection. c) Select "Browse Server" using the system parameter option of OPC channel, browse for Host WinCC Computer on the network. WInCCwill be listed as one of the OPC servers Running. d) You can browse and select the tags that you require. Hope this helps Regards Navnag
