Offline data block values in S7-200

This forum is simply awesome thanks to all the people thattakes a little bit of time to answer the messages posted by people like me. I've learned a lot from you, thanks for all my friends. Actually I'm finishing a project on a224XP processor andI wordering if it's possible to backup the values of the registers (tags) to view in a offline project. If you have used the AB RsLogix surely you know what Imean when you cancheck the values stored in the data tables of the project even if you're offline. This also it's useful when you create a new project based on the existen project, because the data table is downloaded also with the program code. So you only need to do little adjusts instead of write value per value in the memory of the processor. If you know any method to perform this, please let me know, thanks in advance. Regards

Manc Posts: 37 Rating: (2)	In MicroWIN under the "PLC" tab thereisthe option to -"Create Data Block From RAM". Is this what you are after? I believe this reads all v memory from connected PLC and writes all values into a data block which you could then transfer to another unit.

AleksF Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Greetings Manc, Thanks for your answer, indeed this answer does exactly what I was looking for but for my deception, this list form in the Data Block isn't so "friendly" to be edited but on the other hand avoids to introduce manually all the values in the CPU's memory. marcsinclair Posts: 49 Rating: (5)	Hi, You can perhaps use the logging function which is built-in the the S7-200. The values are easier to get to than trying to read the RAM.
