WinCC "Graphic List"

Waterboy Posts: 85 Rating: (6)	Hello eveyone, Is it possible to have the "Graphic List" like "Text List" in WinCC 6.0 ? The WinCC Flex has this feature but surprisingly WinCC does not. The Status disply object can do the trick partly but it does not allow you the access to bits of the tags. Besides whatever images you link to the Status Display object, they get stored in the GraCS folder of the WinCC project and if you have lot of status disply objects the folder may become bulky. Is there any way around...like we store Symbols in the Library > Project Library. (Problem with these symbols is they do not have the index property) Finally, can I have a typical example animation for a Pump or Valve Display? I have tried lot of things...just wanted to know that what is the Industry best practice. Cheers.

Salma Posts: 1398 Rating: (151)	Just a thought, you could use a graphic object witha script against the Picture property. You could then evaluate the status of the tag bit and set the picture accordingly. Not actually done this myself but it should work. Anyone have any other ideas / thoughts / suggestions ?

Danielle Posts: 1275 Rating: (123)	By animating the "Current Status" you can access the bits of your tag! I usually define a struct within a C script, which returns the appropriate status! Howevermy pictures are always stored in the Gracs folder. I haven't heardof any way to store them in the library, sorry!
