Reading/Accesing the WinCC SQL database

Hi, I've seen some people use SQL Server Management to access/visualize ther WinCC database. I need a user/password for this. Does anyone know the user/password?

I also need to access it via external SW, are all databases encrypted or are SLOW Tags stored and available for reading with an external driver? Is this possible without using dedicated SW like IndustrialDataBridge?

 Thanks but I keep getting the error attached ("The login is from an untrusted domain"). So I think the problem is due to the fact that I am trying to connect from another machine. How can I configure this to allow connecting not only from local machine?

Also, would it be possible to connect to it from an outside SW with a SQL Server Driver?

Hello Jorge KW,

with the database of WinCC only Windows Authentication is used.
You need no special SQL-Server-User, only a Windows User,
which has the needed rights for WinCC.

Thanks, but I don't have permission to install Active Directory in either computer. For me it would be perfect if I could just use a username/password to access the SQL database.

Is there any way to set those parameters from WinCC?
