Hi bg2492, We are actually implementing the SSRS reports, for which we need to upgrade the SQL Standard to Express edition. But when we upgrade the edition, the Audit trial services are getting stopped and are not turning ON (attached the pictures of Audit Services). Also the audit trail server/databases are not showing in Audit Editor (attached the pictures of Audit Editor) and not logging any audit data. Your earliest response regarding this issue is highly appreciated. Thanks in Advance, Praveen AttachmentAudit errors.zip (429 Downloads) |

Hi Kbv, As suggested by you I have requested my client that formatting of the system will resolve and i got resolved once by formatting the PC... But again I'm facing the same issue. My client is very angry now... I'm struggling hard to convince them to get the system formatted again...but they are not ready to accept it.... Please help me out in finding a permanent solution for this kind of issues... Thanks in advance, Praveen AttachmentAudit_errors.zip (346 Downloads) |

Hi, I had the same problem seeing no servers. I also couldn't manually run the CCAuditTrialServer. It gave me the 0x80004005 error. In the Windows 'Event Viewer' > 'Windows Logs' > 'Application' I saw Information about the CCAuditTrialServer followed by a couple of MSSQL$WINCC logs telling me this: 'Failed to open the explicitly specified database 'AUDIT_TRAIL_CS' In the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio I saw the 'AUDIT_TRAIL_CS' & 'Audit_Trigger_Data' created in the .\WINCCPLUSMIG2014 server. To solve the problem i attached the 2 databases to the .\WINCC server. Right click databases > Attach.. > Add... (File location: database properties > Files > Path column). I restarted my computer and... great succes. :) |
