Reading Encoder Signals and calculating RPM of a Motor - S7300CPU

Dear Team,

Developing an project with s7 300 cpu  where we need to read the Motor RPM and monitor in HMI,  where Encoder signals are given as input to the PLC..

Can anyone help with  the sample project for reading the motor RPM? Is there any formula to be carried out in PLC program?
