franbel Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone I have this situation. My application in step7 is build to be used in multiple project. I configure wich project by settings value in a DB. But sometime a funny guy play with the PLC switch and reinit the PLC thus transfering the Initial Value to the Actual Value. Then I have to go online with the PLC and remodify all Actual Value in the Data Block. What I need is a program inside the PLC that transfert the Actual Value to the Initial Value so that if someone play with the switch the Initialisation of the datablock right. I dont want to do that with a PC with Step7. I need a Function inside the PLC that can be call on demand via a HMI. Is there any way? Thanks to all

Arunakat1 Posts: 217 Rating: (52)	Hello, Perhaps you can use recipes in your HMI (I don’t know if it is possible with your program/applicatin). But using recipes you can store some values in your HMI. Then it’s all about call the data record of the recipes. Best regards.

NSLaur Posts: 22 Rating: (2)	Hi I will make a program who makes an internal copy of the data in the DB and store them in a DB. Then you most make 2 bottom in your HMI. 1 : Store Data = Make a new copy from DB to Copy DB 2: Restore = Move from copy DB to DB
