Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	Import of a Technical Question of an User bacha URGENT !!! I have a VERSAVIEW (ALLENBRADLY) with RSVIEW 32,RSLOGIX500,RSLINX GETWAY. There is a Siemens 5 PLC in the field which has data I need to acquire. The fundamental question is can these PLC (SIEMENS 5) talk with VERSAVIEW 32 directly (opc server)?

dchartier Grandmaster Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 9/14/2025 Posts: 12408 Rating: (2717)	Hello; I know Kepware offers an S% AS511 OPC server: http://www.kepware.com/Spec_Sheets/Siemens_S5.html I am sure other known OPC providers (SoftwareToolbox, Matricon...) will offer alternatives. Then you need to know if your Versaview OPC client (WEindows CE) can hookup with the servers. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
