Problems to Save and Compile

Hello everybody,

I have been working with a PLC S7-300 for some days and one day suddenly went to STOP. After some tries I managed to take it back to RUN mode by compiling and loading both hardware and software. The problem was that safety blocks weren't loaded in the CPU. After trying different things with no success I tried to 'Save and Compile' the hardware again; but Step 7 does not allow me to click in that option. Have anyone ever had this problem? It might be a problem with my software Step 7?

what exactly was the message in the diagnostic buffer? If you have made changes in the program, you should also carry out the block consistency check.

Which STEP 7 version have you installed. If you have STEP 7 V5.7 then I recommend to install also the hoffix 2.
